Using Project Areas

When creating surveys and uploading them to your account, Cxoice organises the surveys into project areas. Project areas are spaces where you can include documents, allow permission-based access and manage the items around the survey including fieldwork notes, status updates, report, project briefs and so on. As the number of surveys grows, project areas allow you to scale and manage the work you do.

Why projects and project areas...

X1_1_features_project_areas1.jpg For individuals just wanting to do one or two surveys, Cxoice's use of project areas may seem strange. However, for large companies and agencies running multiple projects, potentially with different clients and different internal teams, Cxoice's project area structure allows you to manage the projects you carry out, and have a document repository that stays with the surveys you do.

Large businesses using one of our corporate accounts can group projects into client areas, or into areas for teams or regions acting as a well-managed knowledge repository for the surveys and insight management that you carry out. Agencies can contact us to see our 'agency demonstration system' with a fully private Cxoice installation which uses client areas in addition to projects.

Project set up with wizards

Our set up wizards make it easy to set up appropriate document areas for core items such as briefing materials, background information, proposals, fieldwork documents and outcome and status reports. Once the project is completes, the project areas can include final reports and presentation document, and summaries such as models or forecasts and action plans drawn from the data.

Permission controlled-access

The client and project areas have permission-controlled access. Individuals can be given log-ins and access permissions to allow them to view different parts of the project. For instance, an agency might provide access to written status reports to clients so they can track what is happening with the survey.

Alternatively, a client might allow their internal team to have access to presentation and reporting areas, to share the outcomes of the research, without needing to share other working documents.

Flexible project structures

The structures in Cxoice are flexible and build on our Notanant Knowledge Management platform which includes a wide range of tools for managing, collecting and communicating information, and for research agency and consultancy management.

If you want to go beyond the basics, contact our team for custom set up options on private servers.
