Advertising and website testing

Cxoice offers a range of unique visual tools for researching advertising and websites - from static designs to video and web-overlay techniques to allow your audience to rate, mark up and give commentary on promotions, commercials and live websites or e-commerce systems. With web-assisted telephone interviewing, and video-based feedback system, ads can be tested in combination with in-person interviewers and moderators.

Advertising tests and development

Cxoice can be used for different elements of advertising testing, from copy-tests, to design-tests with 2D mark-up using Cxoice's stickers question type and image ratings and visual impact tests using unforced hotcold scales. The range of testing approaches includes video both for moment-by-moment likeability tests, and the ability to stop and mark up video and content to provide scene-by-scene feedback, in addition to standard overall performance and preferences.

As designs and copy are refined and finalised, Cxoice can be used for monadic and comparative ad testing in terms of preference and pre- and post- advertising tracking to monitor final impact and outcomes. We can also embed advertising in mocked up websites to assess in-situ impact.

Website and usability testing

Many of the tools for advertising testing also apply to Website and usability testing. Whether it's starting with card-sorts, or collage drag-and-drops to show layout preferences and expectations to find an optimal information architecture, Cxoice provides unique tools to explore not just what someone clicks, but also what their preferences and feelings are to different elements of the design. Naturally we also provide heat-maps for research purposes with Cxoice having the capability of 'web-overlays' and embedding research and monitoring tools in live or prototype websites without disturbing the production code, or needing server-side integrations.

Cxoice can also grab items from existing websites (eg e-commerce sites) and then take them through to fuller survey type questions for explanations, ratings and preference identification to provide the 'why' of choices, not just the 'what' of what was clicked or what was chosen.

Expanding capabilities

Cxoice is not limited to 'traditional' question approaches and we run it as an 'open system' where we can build and develop new question and research techniques all the time. We can capture video and screen-shots at the same time that questions are being answered and we can integrate in-person (or AI-based) interviewers and moderators.

If you have research needs that are not being met by traditional systems, talk to our team. With Cxoice you do have choices.
