Card sorts

Card sort example screenshot For businesses looking at website design or UX/usability testing, card sorts are a way of understanding the mental patterns of how users group and organisation information. Card sorts can also be used for ranking and feature prioritisation in product development to sift order-winners from required features and nice-to-haves.

Learn how users and customers categorise and prioritise features

A card sort can be used with pre-assigned categories (closed card sort) or with no pre-assigned categories (open card sort). Cxoice offers options for both open and closed card sorts and can integrate card sort exercises into a broader study that can include additional questions, exercises, or web-overlay tests for additional context.

You can freely edit variations in the Cxoice Questionnaire Creator and use this to build your own questionnaire, Use 'Try it' to see the example working as a questionnaire. No sign ups or downloads are needed to test or edit.

Available for individual projects or as part of a Cxoice Subscription.
